The plaster model is produced specifically for the patient.
>
1) Select the appropriate lamination dummy for the orthotic joint.
2) Disassemble the orthotic joint and remove the perlon cable with lock
(see fig. 2).
3) Insert the lamination dummy (see fig. 1, item 8) into the upper joint sec
tion and install the orthotic joint.
4) Use the enclosed screws to mount the lamination bars on the orthotic
joint.
5) Insert the shoulder screw through the orthotic joint and affix it to the
alignment insert.
6) Laminate the orthosis according to the patient's needs.
7) Remove the shoulder screw.
8) Disassemble the orthotic joint and remove the lamination dummy.
9) Cut free the entire orthosis and it will be complete.
Gluing in bars
After adapting the connecting elements, the bars must be glued in the inser
tion zones for reasons of stability:
1) Clean the connecting surfaces with a degreasing cleaner.
2) Mix the 636W18 special adhesive and 636W19 hardener.
3) Apply the mixture to the insertion zones.
4) Insert the bars.
5) Secure with the enclosed screws.
6) Allow to cure for at least 4 hours.
INFORMATION: Final bonding strength will be reached after
16 hours.
Connecting the perlon cable
1) Cut the perlon cable to length according to the patient.
2) Screw the threaded sleeve onto the first perlon cable (see fig. 3, item 4).
3) Thread the second perlon cable through the coupling piece.
4) Then slide the spring over the perlon cable and screw on the threaded
sleeve.
