Safety instructions

DANGER
Risk of explosion!
Do not use in potentially explosive areas.
Observe the maximum pressure (see in-
struction manual, part 1: technical data
and conventional use).
Use compressed air or nitrogen energy
only.
DANGER
Risk of suffocation when using nitro-
gen.
Only use in a well-ventilated room!
WARNING
Whipping movement of filling hose dur-
ing the filling or draining operation.
Hold the filling hose securely at the plug.
Do not kink the filling hose.
WARNING
Uncontrolled movement of compressed
air hose when quick-action coupling is
opened!
Hold the compressed air hose tightly!
CAUTION
Dangerous obstacle!
Air hoses laid on the ground.
Avoid or pay close attention.
• Be calm and focused and ensure proper
operation.
• Protect yourself and other persons, ani-
mals, property, and the environment by
taking the necessary protective measures
and being trained in use of the devices to
prevent harm to your health, property
damage,
financial
harm or risk of accident.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Prohibited: manipulation, inappropriate
use, temporary repairs, use of other ener-
gy sources, removal or use of damaged
safety equipment, operating a leaking or
malfunctioning system, use of non-original
spare parts, exceeding the permitted
working pressure specified (max. + 10%),
working without protective equipment,
transporting / maintaining / repairing or
leaving a pressurised machine unattended,
using other / unsuitable lubricants, smok-
ing, naked flames, removing stickers.
• Calibrated version: recalibrate after com-
pleting machine repairs.

Calibration

The owner or user must arrange for the ma-
chine to be recalibrated before the inspection
date (Weights and Measures Act § 35 [2] 1).
The inspection date is printed on the ma-
chine. Calibration valid for 2 years.

Commissioning

Before start-up:
1. Observe technical data, figures, item
numbers, intended use and safety in-
structions
(see Instruction manual, Part 1, Chap-
ter: "Technical data" and the "Intended
use" chapter).
2. Carry out a visual inspection.
3. Do not use below 5° C.
Compressed air connection:
1. Connect a filter pressure reducer up-
stream of the filter.
2. Press the quick-action coupling of the air
hose onto the plug nipple (item 01)
(Figure 1a).
