6. REPLACING THE BACKUP BATTERY.

The backup battery allows the electronic programmable time switch
to be configured and programmed even when it is removed from its
mounting box. It also assures continued operation of the display, with
updating of the date and time, for a period of at least 10 days in the
event of a power outage.
ATTENTION!
After replacing the battery, dispose of the old battery
in the appropriate sorted refuse bins.

The buffer battery is required in order for the equipment to
