ENERAL
The KIT PERFORMANCE BOARD (KPB) is
designed

judges, as for gymnastics, skating, martial arts,
synchronized swimming, diving, etc..
KPB-5 is a kit composed of a remote controlled
scoreboard and 7 infrared remote controls for
setting up the scores and the visualization modes: it
can show up to five scores with two digits, as well
as three digit results.

KPB-10: In addition to the operations performed by

KPB-5, KPB-10 allows the visualization of up to 10
scores by a serial connection to a second
scoreboard (see 5).

AFETY
KPB is a Class 1 device supplied with a flexible
and unremovable power cable, provided with an
insulated conductor (PE). It is designed to work for
IT power systems without a direct earth connection;
the metal case is connected to the ground by the

power cable.

1.1.1 Connection to the electrical grid
Before connecting the cable to the power supply,
check that:
the plant is provided with the necessary protection
systems required by the relative national laws;
the power point is close to the equipment to
facilitate its access and disconnection.
1.1.2 Fuses
There is a fuse near the power cable input. For
replacing fuses:
disconnect the power cable;

LAVE
unscrew the fuse holder with a wide bladed
screwdriver;
replace the fuse with another one of similar
characteristics (indications are on the metal plate
situated near the fuse holder);
replace the fuse holder.
A second fuse is situated on the internal CPU card.
For replacing fuses:
disconnect the power cable;
unscrew the 4 screws of the top panel with an
Allen wrench;
remove the Plexiglas panel;
replace the fuse with a similar one (indications
are on the label near the fuse);
reinsert the Plexiglas and fix the top panel with
the 4 screws.
