General Safety Instructions

• Do not use the knife sharpener to sharpen
serrated knives, knives with a serrated edge
or scissors.
• Store the knife sharpener out of the reach of
children to avoid possible accidents.
Directions for Use
Depending on how blunt your knife is, follow one or all of the
following three steps:
• Step 1: Pre-sharpening (rough grinding) (slot ): For blunt
knives. Place the knife in the diamond-studded grinding slot.
Pressing down evenly with the appropriate force, pull the knife
backwards along the curvature of the knife edge. Repeat this
step every six months or as required.
• Step 2: Mid-level sharpening (slot ): For keeping your knives
sharp. Grind the knife as described above.
• Step 3: Fine sharpening (slot ): Always finish with this step in
order to keep the blade smooth and sharp. Proceed as described
above.
After use, wipe off the knife carefully with a damp cloth or rinse it
off under running water. Dry it thoroughly.
