1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all the packaging material such as
plastic bags, filler material, cable ties and card-
board packaging.
3. Check that all parts are supplied in the pack-
age.
NOTE:
The appliance may still contain dust or produc-
tion residues. We recommend that you clean the
appliance as described under "Cleaning".
Operation
CAUTION:
Please observe a waiting period of 2 hours
before initial operation and after moving the
appliance for the coolant to settle; otherwise the
compressor can be damaged.
Mains Power Connection
• Be sure the voltage of the appliance (rating
plate) corresponds with the mains voltage
before connecting to mains power supply.
• Connect the appliance to a properly installed
wall outlet.

Making Ice Cubes

NOTE:
For hygienic reasons do not use the ice cubes
from the first cycle.
1. Open the lid and remove the ice cube contai-
ner.
2. Fill the water tank with potable water (tap
water) to the MAX marking.
CAUTION:
Only use potable water without additives!
NOTE:
• The MAX marking is inside the water tank,
around the lower edge of the ice cube
container.
• The water level must be below the ice
cube container.
• Only use water at room temperature.
3. Replace the ice cube container and close the
lid.
4. Press ON/OFF to start the ice cube production.
The process takes between 9 and 13 minutes.
5. Keep the lid closed.
NOTE:
• The full amount of 9 ice cubes might not
be made on first use.
• Depending on water/ambient temperature
the first ice cubes come out a bit smaller.
The ice cubes only reach the full size dur-
ing subsequent cycles.
• The ice cube size depends on the ambient
temperature.
• Due to fast freezing the ice cubes can look
"milky". This is the air trapped in the water
and does not influence the quality of the
ice cubes.
Stop Ice Cube Production
Press ON/OFF to stop ice cube production.
NOTE:
Before finally stopping the appliance automatical-
ly empties the water tank and dissolves already
produced ice cubes.
Indicator Lamp ICE FULL
As soon as the ice cube container is full, produc-
tion stops. The indicator lamp ICE FULL lights up
and a beep tone sounds.
• Remove the ice cubes with the supplied ice
cube scoop.
