Cleaning Methods
Premiere Products manufacture over fifty different cleaning and maintenance chemicals designed to cope

To Polish Floors
1 Vacuum floor to remove dirt and dust.
2 Remove black marks, scuff marks and superficial dirt using spray cleaning method in conjunction with a
spray unit and appropriate floor maintenance pad.
3 Operate machine in a sweeping action by raising or lowering the handle. A fine grade polishing pad should
be used.
To Burnish Floors
1 Vacuum floor to remove dirt and dust.
2 Remove black marks and scuff marks.
3 Mix a solution of emulsion polish or recommended maintenance product in a spray unit and apply a fine
mist to a small area of floor.
4 Operate machine in a sweeping action using the appropriate floor maintenance pad. Continue until area dry
then treat the next area.
Servicing
Although your now PV.4 should give many years of trouble free operation, an annual service by our engineer
is recommended to minimise the risk of an inconvenient and untimely breakdown.
Should a fault occur, the following checking procedure may provide an immediate solution.
DO NOT exceed the basic checks suggested here.
No liability is accepted and both the guarantee and approvals are invalidated if repairs are carried out other
than by a Premiere Products Service Engineer or an approved service agent.
If a service call is required ring 01242 243421 and specify the model name shown on the cmotor cover label
and the serial number stamped on the serial plate located on the base casting located on the base casting
underneath the handle pivot.
If the machine will not start
• The plug of the supply cord shall be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning the appliance or
undertaking maintenance operations.
• The power cord has to be regularly inspected for signs of damage. If the power supply cord is damaged, it
has to be replaced.
• If neon light is dull or not working, replace fuse in plug, ensuring that it is held tightly by the fuse holder.
• Check power supply from the socket by substituting another electrical appliance.
• Check if overload switch has tripped, if so reset.
If motor runs hot and lacks power
• Check air intake around Chrome motor cover is clear.
