Operating Instructions
The radio-controlled multi-purpose dimmer ITDM-250 is suited for
the energy-saving brightness control of dimmable LEDs,
energy-saving lamps, high- and low-voltage halogen lamps and
light bulbs from 3 to 250 watt.
All teaching transmitters (
Installation (only by a qualified electrician):
1.) Deactivate fuse.
2.) Uninstall existing light switch and disconnect wire. (Fig.1)
3.) Connect both wires to the terminals of ITDM-250. (Fig.2)
4.) Connect the 2 white cables (c) with the light switch. (Fig. 3)
Coding (Fig.4)
5.) Reactivate the fuse, LED on the module remains lit
(lamp switched off).
6.) Briefly press the learning button (L) on the module with a fine pin
(e.g. paperclip, ballpoint pen) (LED flashes)
7.) Press the "EIN" (ON) button on the transmitter, the connected
lamp flashes twice.
Now the coding has been completed.
A total of 6 transmitters can be set.
The coding remains stored even after a power failure.
Delete individual codes:
Proceed as described under 6.) and 7.),
but press the "AUS" (OFF) button instead of the "EIN" (ON) button.
Delete all codes:
Press the learning button (L) for approx. 6 sec., the LED starts
flashing.
Briefly let go and briefly press the learning button (L) once more,
the connected lamp flashes twice. Now all codes have been
deleted, no transmitters are required for that.
ITDM-250
) made by intertechno can be used.
Adjusting the minimum brightness and lamps:
The minimum brightness can be set in 4 stages, with the brightest
stage being set in the factory.
Setting of light bulbs, halogen lamps and LEDs:
8.) Switch on lamp!
9.) Briefly and quickly press the learning button on module 2 twice.
10.) The minimum brightness is reduced with the "AUS" (OFF)
button on the transmitter, increased with the "EIN" (ON)
button.
11.) In order to save the new minimum brightness, press the
learning button again twice (like 9.)
12.) New setting is confirmed with it flashing twice.
Setting of energy-saving lamps:
As described above, but the learning button is pressed at the
beginning and three times for saving.
Use
Dimming with the light switch:
When switched on, the dimmer run is started by quickly switching
off and on.
By switching off and on quickly once more, dimmer run is stopped.
Now the desired brightness is ensured every time it is switched on
again.
Dimming with the transmitter:
The dimmer run is started and stopped with the "EIN" (ON) signal.
When several radio-controlled modules with the same coding are
used, synchronous dimmer run cannot be guaranteed.
