The sensor on the underside of the device
is designed for a measuring depth of up to
25 mm. The selected sensor is indicated in
the display as 25.
The 5 mm sensor is only intended for planed
or very smooth surfaces
▼ Measuring process 25 mm sensor:
If you have selected the desired wood
type, press the device with appropriate
pressure (approx. 4 kg) longitudinally on
the wood piece in the fibre direction.
▼ Hold the measuring device with one hand.
Now you can read the wood moisture val-
ue of the specimen on the display.
