Danger!
Prior to carrying out works in the water, disconnect all electronic devices installed in the water from the
mains. Assure that no water intrudes into the filter's plug connections.
The device's power supply line cannot be replaced. In case of cable damage, the device must no longer be
operated. Contact your specialist dealer or an EHEIM service center or visit www.eheim.de
1. Terminology of display

2. How to connect and put into operation
Set the locking lever to „ON". Rapidly press the suction aid several times consecutively until the filter tank automatically
fills with water.
Plug in the power supply unit at the pump head. Plug in the power cable. The filter starts the automatic self-bleeding
process (auto air out). This may take several minutes.
To accelerate the self-bleeding process, press the suction aid several times. The filter starts the automatic self-calibration
process (auto calibration).
3. Reducing / increasing the FLOW RATE
A Flow rate reduction:
Caution:
Do not adjust the flow rate via the adapter's gate valve!
Automatic mode (factory setting) = 6 green LEDs
Shortly press the „–" button
Minimum flow rate: 1 green LED
B Flow rate increase:
Shortly press the „+" button
Maximum flow rate. The pump no longer automatically re-adjusts itself.

4. Service display

Automatic mode: 1 to 6 green LEDs
Shortly press the „S" button
The indicator counts. Per each green LED = 1 month remains until the next cleaning with constant pollution increase.
After 10 seconds, the indicator automatically returns to the automatic mode. 1 to 6 LED's
