6.2 Continuous dehumidifying / dehumidifying with target humidity
The air dehumidifier has two different modes: continuous dehumidifying and dehumidifying with target humid-
ity. With continuous dehumidifying the room is dehumidified without interruption. In the case of dehumidifying
with target humidity, the room is dehumidified only up to a preset target value (e.g. 50% air humidity). If the pre-
set target value is achieved, dehumidification is stopped automatically and the fan switches off automatically.
• To activate continuous dehumidifying, press the MODE button until the "∞" LED lights up.
• To activate the dehumidifying with target humidity, press the MODE button until the "VALUE" LED illuminates.
Then use the SET button to select your target value: 40%, 50%, 60% or 70%. The dehumidifying with target
humidity is now active and the device starts to dehumidify the room until the set value is reached.
6.3 Selecting the fan speed
The air dehumidifier has a high and a low fan speed setting.
• To set the fan speed, press the FAN SPEED button until the LED of the desired fan speed (I or II) illuminates.
6.4 Timer function
The air dehumidifier features a timer function that you can use to determine the number of hours the air
dehumidifier should run for before it automatically switches itself off.
• Press the Timer button until the desired time illuminates.
• The air dehumidifier has four timer periods: 1H (one hour), 2H (two hours), 4H (four hours) and 8H (eight
hours).
6.5 Swing function
The air dehumidifier has a swing function that ensures better air distribution. When the swing function is
activated, a flap on top of the air dehumidifier opens and closes, which creates better air distribution.
• To activate the swing function, press the Swing button and the applicable LED begins to light up. The flap
on the top opens and closes automatically. If you press the Swing button again, the flap remains fixed
open in the position it is at when the button is pressed.
6.6 Ioniser function
The air dehumidifier has an ioniser function which releases ions into the air. Very fine particles bond with
these (negative) ions due to the pull of the electrical charge. Due to this higher concentration and the forma-
tion of larger particles, the particles are then collected in the ioniser collector or land on the floor, where they
can be vacuumed up.
• To activate the ioniser function, press the ion button and the applicable LED lights up.
6.7 Button lock
The air dehumidifier has a button lock function.
• To activate the button lock, press and hold the LOCK button for three seconds.
• To deactivate the button lock, press and hold the LOCK button for three seconds once again.
• If the air dehumidifier turns itself off by the timer after a preset time, the button lock is deactivated when
the device is operated again.
6.8 Defrost function
If the air dehumidifier is operated in an environment with low temperatures, frost can form on the evaporator.
To ensure perfect operation, the air dehumidifier features a defrost function.
• If the temperature sensor of the air dehumidifier, which is located on the evaporator, detects an ambient
temperature of less than -1°C, the dehumidifying switches on for 30 minutes and the
The ventilation is now activated for around 10 minutes to defrost the air dehumidifier.
