6. Maintenance and cleaning

Replacing the battery

If the inserted batteries have reached the end of their service life, you must re-
place them.
To replace the batteries, follow the instructions in "4.1 Inserting the batteries".
Cleaning
WARNING
- Clean the device using only the methods specified. Under no circum-
stances may liquid enter the device.
- Do not use the device again until it is completely dry.
- Do not clean the device in the dishwasher.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaning products or hard brushes.
Clean the device using a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild cleaning
agent. Then wipe dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.

7. Replacement parts and wearing parts

Replacement parts and wearing parts are available from the corresponding
service address (according to the service address list). Please state the corre-
sponding order number.

8. Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the unit in
accordance with EC Directive 2002/96/EC – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local
authorities responsible for waste disposal.
