The ultraviolet light attracts flying insects. The high voltage grid kills them instantly. They
fall into a removable tray on the bottom of the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

· Always disconnect the appliance from the main supply outlet before touching it.
· The tray on the bottom of the appliance has to be emptied regularly. Release the tray
by sliding the release button at the bottom of the unit.
· Never use water or other liquids to clean the appliance. Only use a dry cloth and a
dry, soft brush. Use a small brush to clean the grille and remove dead insects from the
light.
