GUARANTEE
We guarantee HiKOKI Power Tools in accordance with
statutory/country specifi c regulation. This guarantee does
not cover defects or damage due to misuse, abuse, or
normal wear and tear. In case of complaint, please send
the Power Tool, undismantled, with the GUARANTEE
CERTIFICATE found at the end of this Handling instruction,
to a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Use the inspections in the table below if the tool does not operate normally. If this does not remedy the problem, consult your
dealer or the HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
Symptom
The power won't turn on
There is no audio
The power turned off automatically
The date and/or time is incorrect
The TV cannot receive signals
Unable to set up TV channels
Some TV broadcast signals cannot be
received
Subtitles are not displayed, or
Multichannel Television Sound doesn't
function
The TV's image becomes scrambled
or stops
The TV stops showing images soon
after the power is turned on or the
channel is changed
A Bluetooth device can't connect, or
its sound cuts out intermittently
The video, music, or photos of an
external device cannot be displayed
or played back, or the device's folders
and fi les cannot be displayed.
The remote control doesn't work
NOTE
Due to HiKOKI's continuing program of research and
development, the specifi cations herein are subject to
change without prior notice.
Possible cause
The AC adapter is disconnected, or
isn't plugged all the way into the outlet.
No remaining battery power
The volume is too low.
The sleep function activated.
The backup battery is exhausted.
The channels are not confi gured.
Country setting is incorrect.
Terrestrial digital signals are not being
broadcast.
The TV program you are watching
doesn't support subtitles and/or
Multichannel Television Sound.
The antenna is pointed in the wrong
direction, or the antenna cable is
disconnected or broken.
This is not a malfunction.
The device is not paired.
There is another nearby device that
is emitting radio signals that are
interfering, such as a wireless router.
The Bluetooth device is too far away
from the TV & radio.
The connection isn't properly
recognized.
The remote control isn't aimed at the
remote control sensor.
The remote control is too far away
from the remote control sensor.
The TV & radio's remote control
sensor is under bright light such as
direct sunlight.
The remote control's batteries are
exhausted.

Remedy
Firmly plug the AC adapter all the way
into the outlet.
Charge the battery.
Adjust the volume.
Disable the sleep function.
Replace the backup battery with a
new one.
Confi gure the channels.
Please check Country setting.
Ask your nearest broadcast station
whether they are broadcasting
terrestrial digital signals.
Try using subtitles or Multichannel
Television Sound on a TV program
that supports it.
Ensure there are no problems with
the direction in which the antenna
is pointed or with the antenna cable
connection.
Because the signal must be
processed to prepare it for being
displayed on the screen, changing the
channel takes several seconds.
Pair the device.
Try moving the device causing
interference and the TV & radio farther
away from each other.
Try bringing the device closer to the
TV & radio.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting
the external device. If it is still not
recognized, try turning the TV &
radio's power off and on again.
Point the remote control at the remote
control sensor of the TV & radio while
operating it.
Operate the remote control from
approx. 3 m away or closer.
Place the TV & radio in a location out
of direct sunlight and other bright light.
Replace the remote control's batteries
with new ones.
