3. Check if the water level is between minimum and maximum display of the
device. Note that the water level changes when ingredients are added.
4. Put in the power plug. The acoustic signal shows the device is ready to use.
5. Push the ON/OFF switch to switch the device on.
6. Set up the device according to your needs.
7. Push the ON/OFF switch after use to switch the device off.
8. Pull the plug.
9. Let the device cool completely before removing it from the mounting.
Caution! The device is hot during and after use!
Only use the device with special foil bags, which are designed for the Sous Vide
cooking method. Do not use regular plastics bags or cling film. The device must only
be used with water and is not designed for other liquids.
The Sous Vide Stick Henry has an automatic switch-off function. If the water level
is too low, the device switches off automatically.

SETTING UP THE PUMP DIRECTION

With the pump lid at the end of the heating stick the direction of water circulation
can be adjusted. The circulation pump keeps the water moving in order to yield a
constant temperature and perfect results. The opening of the pumping lid can be
adjusted for large or sensitive ingredients.
1. Turn the pumping lid to the right to remove it.
2. For sensitive ingredients such as eggs or fish filets attach the lid with the stain-
less steel cover so that the opening is turned towards the rim of the container.
3. For large ingredients e.g. steaks attach the lid with the stainless steel cover so
that the opening is turned towards the ingredients.
