OPERATION - Baking donuts
1. Prepare the donut batter using the recipe given on the packaging.
2. Preheat the appliance as explained in 'Preheating'.
3. Grease both baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter over the surface..
4. Use a little round spoon to pour a small amount of batter in each hole of the lower plate. Be sure the
batter does not exceed the brim.
5. Lower the upper plate.
6. Close the cakemaker with the latch.
7. Bake the donuts until they have the desired colour.
WARNING:
The normal preparation time is approximately 6 minutes. For evenly browned donuts you may turn
around the donuts and bake them for approximately 4 extra minutes.
During use the heating element will switch on and off to keep the temperature of the baking plate
constant. Consequently, the indicator light will also occasionally be illuminated.
8. Open the appliance once the donut s are ready.
9. Carefully remove the donuts with a fork; take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
10. Once you have finished baking donuts, remove the plug from the plug socket and open the appliance to
allow the baking plates to cool down.
Suggestion: Sprinkle the donuts with some granulated sugar. Try also to dip the donuts in hot chocolate
and sprinkle them with nut pieces. You can also cover the donuts with jam and honey.
RECIPE - Batter for cupcakes
Ingredients
2 eggs
145g castor sugar
1/2 sachet vanilla sugar
Preparation
Put the sugar, the vanilla sugar and the butter in a bowl with a pinch of salt and whisk the ingredients with
a mixer in approximately 10 minutes into a creamy mass. Whisk through the eggs one by one. Wait with
adding the second egg until the first egg has fully blended with the mixture. Use a spatula to mix the flour
through in parts. Divide the mixture over the forms in the lower baking plate, preferably with a piping bag.

cake cases in the appliance.
4. Divide the mixture over the forms in the lower baking plate, preferably with a piping bag.
WARNING:
Do not use a plastic piping bag, it could melt when it comes into contact with the baking plates.
5. Bake the cupcakes until they have the desired colour.
