CLOSING THE LADDER

To closing the Escali multifunction ladder, proceed as follows:
Hold the ladder in an upright positions, push the locking levers toward middle
of the rung.
From the lower section, close the sections one by one.

ATTENTION:
To avoid the risk of getting your hands trapped, do not put them on or between
the rungs while closing the ladder.

CHANGING THE LENGTH

When changing the length of an already opened Escali multifunction ladder,
always close the ladder first (see closing the ladder), and
ladder to the desired length (see opening the ladder intermediate length)�

USING THE LADDER

For safety reasons ladders in general shall be used with care and common
sense, With regard to the aluminium telescopic ladder, we also want to point
out the following:
• The ladder should be used at an angle of 75 degrees, in relation to the
ground.
• The ladder is built for maximum load of 150 kg
• The ladder must be used on a flat firm level surface.
• The ladder must not be used with irregular distance between the rungs.
• The top three rungs must not be used as a foot step.
• Avoid using the ladder in locations such as water­filled holes, as this may
result in a malfunction due to dirt and water getting into the tubes.
• Avoid subjecting the ladder to knocks or rough treatment, as damage to the
tubes directly affects the collapsible function.
• Always transport aluminium telescopic ladder in the folded position, so
that the aluminium tubes are protected inside each other and cannot be
damaged.
• The ladder must not be used hanging from the top rung.
• Do not open, close or use the ladder upside down.
• That ladder must not be used in horizontal position, such as resting on a
step or saw horse.
