6 .1 .4 Winding up the carrier material in dispensing
mode (not available as a standard)
In dispensing mode, the materials are removed after
being printed and only the carrier material is wound up
internally.

1 Open the cover.
2 Swivel the pressing system away from the guide roll.
3 Remove the materials from the carrier material on the
first 100 mm of the consumable material strip.
4 Guide the consumable material strip around the
dispensing plate and guide roll to the internal winder.
5 Hold onto the internal winder.
6 Turn the rotary knob clockwise up to the stop.
7 Push the carrier material under a clamp of the internal
winder.
8 Align the outer edge of the consumable material strip
with the material roll.
9 Turn the rotary knob counterclockwise up to the stop.
; The internal winder is spread apart and the consumable
material strip is therefore firmly clamped.
10 Turn the internal winder counterclockwise to tighten the
material.
11 Position the pressing system centred on the consumable
material strip.
12 Swivel the pressing system onto the guide roll.
13 Turn the lever clockwise to lock the printhead.

1 Turn the ring counterclockwise, so that the arrow points
to the
symbol and the margin stop is released.
2 Adjust the margin stops so that the material fits between
the two margin stops.
3 Place the material stack behind the device.
f Ensure that the materials on the strip are visible from the
top.
; The material stack is placed behind the device.
4 Guide the consumable material strip over the roll holder
through to the print unit.
5 Push the margin stop until the consumable material strip
is resting against the assembly wall and the margin stop
or both margin stops, without being clamped or bent.
6 Turn the ring clockwise, so that the arrow points to the
symbol and the margin stop clamps onto the roll
holder.
7 Insert the consumable material strip into the printhead.
