mixture is permitted by the manufacturer.
6.2
Filling tank (07)
Fill the tank only outdoors or in a well-ventilated
area. Before you fill the tank with spraying solu-
tion, carry out a test run with fresh water and
check all the parts of the spraying appliance.
1. Unscrew measuring beaker (07/1). Filler neck
(07/2) is open.
2. Place the spraying appliance on a level sur-
face. Do not fill the tank above the Maximum
mark (07/3).
3. After filling the tank, screw measuring beaker
(07/1) securely onto filler neck (07/2).
4. Attach a sign to the spraying appliance show-
ing what chemicals are being used.

1. Loosen spray nozzle (05/1) (05/a).

1. Tighten spray nozzle (05/1) (05/b).

1. Hold the spraying appliance at handle (01/3)
or hang over the shoulder using the shoulder
strap.
2. Press ON/OFF switch (01/7). The appliance
is switched on.

1. Press operating button (08/1) on handle
(08/2) (08/a). Release operating button (08/1)

is switched off.

7 WORKING BEHAVIOUR AND
WORKING TECHNIQUE

Aim the spray nozzle directly at the plants or
objects that you wish to spray.
■
Do not use the appliance in windy weather.
The spraying materials could be inadvertently
blown onto plants or objects that are not to
be sprayed.
■
The plant sprayer can be used with the spray
lance in the bracket or on the handle of the
spray lance.
8 MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Wear suitable personal protective
equipment at all times during main-
tenance, care and cleaning work!
■
Do not get the appliance wet or expose it to
moisture. Do not spray with water.
■
After every use, remove the rechargeable
battery and store in a dry place.
■
Inspect the inside and outside of the appli-
ance and all the components before and after
every use for:
■
Leaks
■
Cracked or worn hoses
■
Clogged nozzles
■
Missing or damaged parts
■
Do not use flammable solvents or abrasive
cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
■
Have the appliance repaired before using it
again.
■
Regularly check the machine is in good work-
ing order.
■
Inspect the electrical contacts of the appli-
ance for corrosion, clean with a fine wire
brush if necessary and then spray with a con-
tact spray.
■
Empty the tank via the filler neck before
cleaning.
■
Wash out the appliance with clean water after
every use.
