4.2 Operation of manually operated grease
iller pumps LAGF 18 and LAGF 50
Filling a grease gun or other greasing tool using
the LAGF 18 or LAGF 50
1. Push the illing nipple of the grease gun
into the illing nozzle of the pump.
2. Do not retract the piston handle on the
grease gun prior to illing, since this
may cause air to be trapped inside the
grease gun.
3. During illing, ensure that the illing
nipple is pressed into the illing nozzle.
This will automatically open the shutoff
valve itted in the illing nozzle.
4. Fill the grease gun by operating the
handle of the iller pump. The grease
gun is full when the resistance of the
handle of the iller pump increases.
Approximately 10 strokes are required
to ill an empty grease gun.
