Expected LED Lifespan

LEDs gradually decline in brightness over time, primarily because of the heat of their operating
temperature and using. When LEDs are clustered, as they are in video panels, they generate higher
operating temperature than they do when not clustered. Using clustered LEDs at their fullest
intensity reduces the LEDs' lifespan. The C6 panels have a thermal management system designed
to overcome this and provide the most brilliant image possible with the longest LED lifespan. The
C6 panel's LED lifespan is 50,000 hours. However, the LED lifespan can be extended even further
by increasing the ventilation around the panels and keeping the ambient temperature to an optimal
operating range. In addition, limiting the overall projection intensity may also help to extend the
LEDs' lifespan.
