This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children shall be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Do not use near inflammable products or in explosive atmo-
spheres. Heat can cause fire to inflammable products even
when they are not in sight. Only use in properly ventilated
areas.
Do not expose to rain.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with
household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check
with your local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.

General safety rules

Warning!
Read all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury. This device serves exclusively to eliminate sprawl between paving
stones, on paved areas, from masonry, in flower beds and lawns during the growth period.
Do not expose to rain.
A fire may result if the appliance is not used with care, therefore:
•
be careful when using the appliance in places where there are combustible materials;
•
do not apply to the same place for a long time;
•
do not use in presence of an explosive atmosphere;
•
be aware that heat may be conducted to combustible materials that are out of sight;
•
place the appliance on its metal kickstand after use and allow it to cool down before
storage;
•
do not leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
