In the display lower part appears a small box that includes the full spectrum
representation (Full Span) in order to locate at any moment the zone of the spectrum
corresponding to the main display that appears marked by a discontinuous white line
box.

4.2.3 TRACE control:

When the TRACE key [4] is pressed, appears highlighted in red colour a screen
field indicating the input signal measurement type that is being represented.
On the display right part are shown, by means of a numerical icons column, the
traces available to operate:
Trace 0:
It represents the input signal measuring trace, which is refreshed
after each sweeping.
Traces 1 to 9: Traces previously saved.
The PROLITE-60 allows carrying out the following operations with traces:
1.- Saving traces:
In order to save the measurement (trace 0) and to assign it to a specific
memory position, press the numerical key corresponding to the trace to be saved
while holding the rotary selector [8] pressed.
For example, whether the rotary selector [8] and, later the key number 7 are
simultaneously pressed. In the memory position corresponding to trace 7 the
measurement value will be saved by the trace 0 at this moment.
2.- Viewing traces:
The active trace corresponds to the last one selected. It is shown on screen and
it appears indicated with an arrow in the squared icons column on the screen right
side. Over the active trace acts markers [2].
In order to activate the trace representation previously memorised press the
numerical key that corresponds to the trace number to visualise.
The trace will appear on screen and the cursors will remain assigned to this
trace. In order to deactivate it, press again the corresponding numerical key and
the trace will be removed.
At any moment those previously memorised traces that have been selected
will be visualised. Each trace appears drawn in the display with the same colour
that the corresponding icon of the icons column that represent the traces in the
display right part. Only those traces which icon appears highlighted in colour are
shown on screen.
