7) Always leave switch SW 1 in position EUROPE. It
serves to adjust the channel spacing.
8) Connect the reception antennas to the antenna
screw terminals.

9) Reposition the cover of the amplifier.
5 Operation
5.1 Calling up Stored Stations
If no stations have been stored yet, please read the
next chapter 5.2 "Adjusting and Storing of a Station"
first.
1) Press the button ON (3) to switch on the tuner. The
frequency of the station last adjusted will then
appear in the display (1).
2) Press the FM/AM button (2) to choose the fre-
quency range in which the station is stored.
3) To select a stored station, select the number under
which the station has been stored with the numeri-
cal keys (5).
4) The stored station frequency is shown in the display
(1).
5) Adjust the desired volume with the volume control (6).
6) Switch off the tuner by pressing the button ON (3)
again.
5.2 Adjusting and Storing a Station
1) The tuner can be adjusted to the three frequency
ranges FM1, FM2, and AM: FM1 and FM2 for FM
reception and AM for AM reception. Use the FM/AM
button (2) to change the frequency range. The
selected frequency range is shown in the display
(1). Up to 6 stations can be permanently stored in
each of the three frequency ranges. Thus, a total of
18 stations can be stored.
2) The station frequency can be adjusted manually
with the buttons
and
cy can either be increased (by pressing the button
) or decreased (by pressing the button
by step. The frequency spacing for the FM range is
50 kHz, for the AM range 9 kHz.

3) If the station is tuned, keep the desired numerical
key (5) pressed until the indication CH and below it
the station number appear on the right of the dis-
play (see fig. 1). Then the station is memorized
under this number in the corresponding frequency
range (FM1, FM2, or AM).
