Changing Pump Oil
Changeoil after first 50 hours of operation and then every
200 hours or 3 months, whichever occurs first.
NOTICE When changing pump oil, use only high quality
nondetergent 30 weight oil. Use no special additives.
NOTICE Pump oil is available as an optional accessory, it is
not included with the pressure washer. Pump oil, item 75127
is available at your local Searsor by calling 1-SOO-4-1VlY-NOIVIE
(469-4663) or online at www.sears.com.
Change pumpoil as follows:
1.
Cleanarea around brass oil drain plug at bottom of
pump.
2.
Remove oil drain plug. Drain oil completely into an
approved container.
3.
When oil has completely drained, install oil drain plug
and tighten firmly.
4.
Cleanarea around pump oil dipstick. Remove dipstick
and fill pump with recommended oil to "Fuir' mark on
dipstick (typically 0.35L or 12 oz.).
5.
install pump oil dipstick.
6.
Wipe up any spilled oil.

• Disconnect the spark plug wire from the spark plug and place
the wire where it cannot contact spark plug.
WHENTESTINGFOR ENGINESPARK
• Useapproved spark plug tester.
• DO NOT check for spark with spark plug removed.
Oil
Oil Recommendations
We recommend the use of Briggs & Stratton Warranty
Certified oils for best performance. Other high-quality
detergent oils are acceptable if classified for service SF, SG,
SH, SJ or higher. DO NOT use special additives.
Outdoor temperatures determine the proper oil viscosity for
the engine. Use the chart to select the best viscosity for the
outdoor temperature range expected.
