This appliance draws in cold air, heats it and then
discharges hot air into the cooking chamber, where the
food is then cooked by the hot air. Cooking food this way
does not require adding any oil or fat.
The air fryer can be used for a broad range of
applications. You will fi nd some suggestions in chapter
8 - Useful hints for air-frying on page 25.

Cleaning and care
Clean the appliance before it is used for the fi rst time,
and also immediately after each cycle of use.
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage to the
appliance.
– Never immerse the air fryer in water.
WARNING
Health risks due to unsuitable cleaning
agents.
– Only food-grade cleaning agents
should be used for cleaning the
individual components.
CAUTION
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions or tools that night cause
scratches to the surfaces.
1. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth.
2. Remove the basket holder and basket from the air
fryer.
3. Press the release button and detach the basket
from the holder.
CAUTION
The basket holder and basket are not
dishwasher-proof.
4. Clean the basket holder, inside and out, using a
commercially available detergent under running
water.
5. The basket is also cleaned, inside and out, in the
same way.
