Every pool has different shapes and different fi ltration, so you can't
generally say which place is best.
Test:
Press the push button on the transmitter for 1 s and place it on the
calm water surface. If the sensor does not detect movement within
1 minute, it activates. This is indicated by a beep and the LED
diode starts fl ashing. Now try to demonstrate a child falling into
the water by throwing 4 PET bottles tied together into the pool. If
the sensor responds correctly (you will hear repeated beeping),
try turning on fi ltering. In case the fi ltering affects the transmitter,
move it to another location or change the sensitivity setting.
At the same time, try to see whether you are within signal range
of the siren, which should sound when waves are detected in the
test. If the signal range is too long, it is possible to use a repeater
(BZ903). You can also purchase a second receiver to cover the
entire house.
Sensitivity setting:
Open the transmitter by unscrewing the back part. Turning the knob to
the right increases the sensitivity
again in the pool. Make this setting until you are satisfi ed with the sensiti-
vity. After setting, make sure there is no water inside. For the fi nal tighte-
ning of the back cover, you can use a fl at object, eg: a cutlery knife
You can grease the seal with silicone oil to extend its life and improve the
protection of the electronics from moisture.
The pool alarm system can be used throughout the entire swimming
season. It manages to guard a pool size of approx. 50-60 m2. If the
pool is much larger or has a complicated shape and the water wave
cannot spread well, it is advisable to use several alarm systems.
