Installation
Preparation of the installation
Make sure that the power has been disconnected before starting this
installation. The plug should be mounted in locations that are easy to
move and insert. You will need two helpers to install this hood.
Tools you will need:

- Hand saw or jigsaw
Installation work and electrical wiring must be performed by qualified
personnel in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, inclu-
ding fire protection.
Do not discharge exhaust air from other appliances burning gas or other
fuels into a chimney.
Air discharge regulations must be complied with.
The extractor hood must be positioned at least 65 cm above the cooking
surface of a hob.
The extractor hood must be positioned at a maximum distance of 75 cm
above the cooking surface of a hotplate.
Method of installation in wall unit
Drill one 130mm diameter hole and four 3.5mm diameter holes as
shown in the picture below.
ATTENTION: If your cooker hood is operating in air circulation mode, it
is not necessary to drill a 130mm diameter hole.
Use the 4 screws to fix the extractor hood to the kitchen unit. Check
that your fixings are correctly positioned by temporarily adjusting the
cooker hood. If it is correct, adjust the appliance into position. Tighten
the screws if necessary.
Wall installation method
For wall mounting, drill two 10mm diameter holes, 538/696mm, with
the vent hole in the top of the hood in the center, as shown in the pic-
ture below. Make sure the hood is aligned directly on the plate.
Insert two plastic plugs (supplied) into the holes.
Insert two screws into the top two plastic plugs and tighten them lea-
ving 3 mm protruding from the wall.
Mount the extractor hood on the two screws and mark the two lower
screw positions.
Remove the hood, drill the two lower screw holes and insert the plas-
tic plugs.
Mount the hood on the upper screws, insert the lower screws and fully
tighten all screws.
