Attention
The PeroSupport.tec or the PeroSupport.pro orthosis is made
of epoxy-resin pre-impregnated carbon fibre (Prepreg-material)
and cannot be thermo-formed. Boreholes in the foot sole and
in the connection braces are not allowed. These would interrupt
the fibre orientation and the stability of the orthosis cannot be
guaranteed.
The PeroSupport.tec or the PeroSupport.pro orthosis may be used
for patients of up to a maximum body weight of 120 kg / 264 lbs.
Patients with higher body weight must be fitted with a customised
orthosis.
4 Application for 197R4 and 197R6
Wrong alignment of the foot
During length adjustment, the connection brace between dorsal spring and
sole must not get too close to the medial side of the ankle (see Fig. 1).
Correct alignment of the foot
By shortening the heel section, the connection brace moves into dorsal posi-
tion, preventing direct contact with the ankle (see Fig. 2).
To customise the sole to the shape of the shoe sole, it can be cut by scissors.
For extensive adjustments of the sole width, cut on both sides.
To avoid damages of the shoe or irritations of the foot, the edges should be
sanded smoothly after cutting. The sole must not be cut beyond the white
marks at the edge (see Fig. 3).
The strap must be adjusted to the user's calf circumference prior to first use
(see Fig. 4).
4.1 Application Magnetverschluss der 197R4 PeroSupport.tec
Closing the magnetic closure
To close, grab the top part of the magnetic closure at the rear end (in the
plastic area) and move it towards bottom part. The magnetic closure then
locks itself in the correct position. (see Fig. 5).
