3.) Assemble speaker holder
Maintenance, cleaning and repair
u Maintenance: Regularly check if the clamping screws are tight.
u Cleaning: Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the pedestal. Do not use chlorinated or abrasive
u
cleaning agents. These will cause damage to the surface and varnish.
u Repair: Immediately repair any damage that occurs and stop using the pedestal. Maintenance
u
work may only be carried out if you have the necessary knowledge. If any parts are missing,
u
contact the manufacturer at www.k-m.de. You can use the item number printed on the model
u
plate to access a replacement parts sheet so you can order the missing or defective parts.

Fault/cause
The pedestal wobbles or
is unstable
The speaker wobbles or
can not be assembled
Before assembly, the felt ring must be glued to the
speaker holder 1. Place the speaker holder on the
speaker, and screw it in place with the pan head
screw M6 x 35 mm 2. The release on the speaker hol-
der must point towards the rear of the speaker. The
speaker holder must lie flat against the speaker.
The pedestal is properly set up.
The substrate is level and load-bearing.
Cable is pulled in.
The speaker holder is firmly screwed to the speaker.
The speaker can be placed on the pedestal and scre-
wed in place using the three countersunk head
screws M4 x 10 mm 3. Make sure that the bar on the
base tube is posi-tioned in the clearance of the spea-
ker holder

● Check surface and footprint.
● Check screw connection between base plate and base
●
tube as well as between base tube and speaker holder.
● Check the screw connection between the speaker holder
●
and the speaker.
