SECTION 5: CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
* To prevent accidental activation, unplug the power cord before assembling or
disassembling parts and before cleaning.
* Make sure the device is not submerged in water.
PLEASE REFER TO ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL
IMPORTANT: You should never put the appliance in the dishwasher. To ensure lasting
and effective performance, clean the device after each use.
1. Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and wait for the appliance to cool down.
2. Remove the lid and clean with a damp cloth. Be careful when cleaning the blade, the blades are
very sharp.
3. Fill the jug with warm water and a little soap after use. Clean your device with the
BLEND/CLEAN function (see section 4: Functions). Clean the inside of the jug with a soft sponge.
Note: do not use abrasive sponges that can scratch the bottom.
4. Dry the lid and the jug immediately after cleaning.

Problem
The lights on the display do
not light up
The light of the selected
program flashes, but the
appliance does not operate
The device cuts out
You will hear a beep several
times and the light of the
selected program will flash
The food is burnt
The error message "E1"
appears on the display
Cause
The power cord is not
properly connected
There are too many
ingredients in the jug and
the lid is not fitted properly
You have not confirmed the
program with the start
button
You are using too little fluid
You use too much fluid
The overflow sensor is dirty
You have not filled the jug
between the min and max
indications
Too many ingredients have
been added in the jug

Solve method
Check the power cord and
make sure the power is on
Remove some ingredients so
that the lid closes properly
Press the start button
The device contains a boil-dry
protection. The device will
switch off when too little
humidity is used. Add some
extra fluid
The device has a sensor that
ensures that the jug cannot
overflow. Pour some liquid
from the jug
Clean the sensor with a
damp cloth
Make sure that the bottom is
always covered with liquid up
to the min and max
indication
Make sure the contents of
the jug are between the min
and max marks
