Description and use
The combined thermostat with a fuse of the RAC series is intended for temperature
regulation in devices heated by el. alternating current. When the preset temperature
is reached, it automatically interrupts the electrical circuit, switches on again in the
event of a drop in temperature and continuously maintains the medium temperature
by switching the on/off positions.If he reachesambient temperature of the

electrical circuit is disconnected, which protects the device from overheating. The
RAC is a 3-phase capillary controller, consisting of a switching device and a capillary
temperature sensor.

Installation
Warning:
Installation and connection of the controller to the electrical circuit may only be
performed by a person with a qualification of min. according to Decree No.
50/1978 §6, or a professional service worker. The following recommendations
must be followed during installation:
• Only install the controller in devices intended for this purposeoperating
instructions (Class I appliances) so thatthe connection terminals are under a non-
removable cover.
• Connect the terminals to the electrical circuit and the grounding pin using 6.3 x
0.8 mm sockets according to ČSN EN 61210 or under screw M6 due to design.
• Bend the capillary with a minimum radius R = 5 mm.
• Select the length of the M4 fastening screws so that they do not interfere with the
switching device after tightening, tighten the screws to a torque of 1.2 Nm to the
controlpanel or beam.
• The switch head may be mounted in room snormal environment AB5, AE1, AM1,
AN1, Be1,
Storing conditions
Instalace
Storing can be done in closed and aired rooms within temperature range
15–60 °C. Storing and trasfer must not cause a mechanical damage of the
device.Thermostat combined with a fusemust be treated with care, with no major
shocks or vibrations.

Disposal should be performed as follows: Hand into a recycling collection
point.

Warranty
Provided, that the product has been placed and used according to the
instruction manual, the manufacturer provides with warranty in compliance
with a valid code, unless agreed otherwise.

The manufacturer will reject warranty repair, in case the product has been
damaged:

during tranport and storage of the purchaser, or his customers,
during installation or disassembly of device of the purchaser or his

customer.

Warranty and post-warranty repairs
Warranty and post-warranty repairs are provided by the manufacturer. Warranty
claim of a faulty thermostat should be done at the seller. The warranty claim will be
accepted in case, that following requirements are met:

submitted warranty list of the given thermostat,
-
paid invoice of the thermostat,
the conditions and requirements of operating manual were met.
