6. Performing Addition and Subtraction
The following keys are used for addition and subtraction
operations.
Press this key after entering a value to specify that
the value should be added to a total.
S Press this key after entering a value to specify that
the value should be subtracted from a total.
Press this key after entering values to obtain the total
of the entries and add the total to the grand total memory.
Immediately press this key a second time to obtain the
grand total currently stored in the grand total memory.
Press this key at any point during a calculation to print
the subtotal up to that point. The subtotal is printed even
if the Function Selector is set to the ON position.
To calculate subtotals, totals, and grand totals with
item counts
«With the Function Selector set to ITEM, pressing %j or
i} prints the total number of items added or subtracted,
along with the applicable total. Immediately pressing
a second time prints the total number of
operations
performed in order to accumulate values into the grand
total memory, along with the content of the grand total
memory.

6. Para sumar y restar
Para las operaciones de suma y resta se utilizan las si-
guientes tecias.
Pulse esta tecla después de ingresar un valor para
especificar que el valor debe ser sumado
a un total.
—| Pulse esta tecla después
de ingresar un valor para
especificar que el valor debe ser restado de un total.
Ee Presione esta tecla después de ingresar los valores
para obtener el total de ingresos y sumar
ei total a !a
memoria del total general. Presione inmediatamente esta
tecla una segunda vez, para obtener e! total de los ingre-
sos y sumar el total a la memoria deij total general.
Pulse esta tecla en cualquier punto durante un calculo
para imprimir el subtotal hasta ese punto. El subtotal se
imprime aun si el selector de funcion se ajusta a la posicion
ON.
Caiculo de los subtotales, totales y totales gene-
rales con los contadores de itemes
¢Con el selector de funcién ajustado a ITEM, pulsando
4} o al imprime el numero totat de itemes sumados o
restados, junto con el total aplicable. Presionando inme-
diatamente & una segunda vez, imprime el numero total
