Mount your dock light in three easy steps
The DL2 bracket is designed to fit most existing bolt hole patterns from previous dock arm
installations.
Step 1. Select a mounting location suitable to support the weight of the unit. If securing to a
solid cinderblock or cement structure, use 3/8" lag bolts with expansion anchors. If mounting to
a wood framed building structure, fasten directly to a stud using 3/8" lag bolts.
Step 2. Use the template on page 4 to drill appropriate sized holes for the fasteners/wall
anchors (only 4 fasteners required). Recommended bracket mounting height is 66-78 inches
(168-198cm) from the floor and 12-18 inches (30-46cm) from the edge of the door opening.
Step 3. When the dock arm is securely fastened to the wall, attach the lamp head to the
arm end with included fasteners (not applicable for integrated LED). Connect the cordset
into a suitable power source and your DL2 is ready to be used.
CAUTION! Plug the unit into an electrical outlet compliant with the ratings as
specified on the product label.
Max Weight: 30 lbs (14 kg)
120 VAC, 60Hz, 14 Watts, Rated up to 10 Amp Max
Adjust the jointed fasteners to allow ease of positioning and movement of the arm and lamp head. Avoid positioning
the light beam directly at operators' pathway; instead aim the light at surfaces inside the trailor to maximize safety and
efficiency.
