2. BEFORE USE
-
This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out
of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other
packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when
transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all
packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the Official Cecotec Technical Support Service
immediately.

Remove all stickers and wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth.
-
Make sure no packaging materials remain and no object has fallen inside the toaster.

Place the flatbed toaster on a flat, stable, dry, and heat-resistant surface. Do not place the
appliance near heat sources, places with high humidity levels, or combustible materials.

3. OPERATION
-
This appliance is designed to toast and heat bread. Do not use it to cook any other food.

Put the crumb tray correctly. Never use the toaster without having installed the crumb tray
correctly.

Before using the toaster for the first time, switch it on for a few minutes but do not place
bread on it. It is normal for it to give off a little smoke at first.

Plug the appliance into the mains supply.
Place the slices of bread on the rack.

NOTE:

Do not spread the bread slices with oil or butter before toasting.

Do not completely cover the toasting rack with bread. Leave space between the slices.

Choose the toasting time by turning the power control knob (maximum time: 170 seconds).
The toasting time depends on the type of bread (frozen, dry, or fresh) and the thickness
of the bread.
Press the power button. The indicator light will light up.

Turn the slice of bread manually when it is toasted on one side.

The toasting process will end automatically at the end of the toasting time, but you can
stop the toasting process earlier by pressing the power button. If you choose to end the
toasting process early, the indicator light will go out and the toaster will automatically
switch off.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the toaster after every use and if you are going to use it again after a long period of
time without using it.

Before cleaning the toaster, make sure it is unplugged from the mains and completely cold.
Clean the surface of the appliance and the toaster rack with a damp cloth.

Pull out the crumb tray to remove crumbs, breadcrumbs, etc. Always use the handle to
remove the crumb tray.

Put the tray back in place and make sure it is correctly positioned.

Store the toaster in a clean, dry place when not in use. Make sure it is clean and dry and
unplug it from the mains before storing it.

It is advisable to store the flatbed toaster in its original box to protect it from dust.

When storing the toaster, the power cord should be placed in its dedicated space on the
base of the appliance. Simply wind the power cord around the hooks.
