SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
USAGE
• When using, maintain adequate visibility below a height of 2m in the presence of the public.
• Fog or smoke may trigger fire detection systems.
MAINTENANCE / SERVICE
• Never attempt to disassemble, repair or modify the unit yourself. Otherwise, the warranty becomes void. Repairs by
unqualified persons may result in damage or malfunction. Please contact the nearest authorized service center. The light
source contained in this fixture should only be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a person of equivalent
qualification.
• Disconnect the unit from the mains before servicing.
• Disconnect power before adding fluid. Do not operate without fluid. Use only ALGAM LIGHTING fluid.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its
service agent.
• Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. Wipe only with a slightly damp cloth.
• CAUTION : To reduce the risk of fire replace fuse with same type and rating.
RIGGING
Attention! The installation must be carried out by qualified service personal only. Improper installation can re-
sult in serious injuries and /or damage to property. Overhead rigging required extensive experience! Working
load limits should be respected, Certified installation materials should be used, the installed device should be
inspected regularly for safety.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Be careful when filling the fluid tank. First of all, unplug the mains lead!
Then unscrew the cap on the tank and fill it.
1 • Unpack the fog machine.
2 ∙ Fill the fluid tank by means of a funnel.
3 ∙ Plug the unit into a mains outlet.
4 ∙ Switch the unit ON.Depending on the room temperature, it takes about 5 mi-
nutes until the working temperature is reached. Then the thermostat is clicking
and the LED on the manual control lights up.
5 ∙ Once the smoke machine has reached its working temperature (the LED is lit)
the smoke machine can produce continuously fog during about 1-2 minutes.
6 ∙ After this period of time, the fog generator is cooled so much down that the
thermostat switches off. Wait a few minutes until the working temperature is
reached again.
7 ∙ Select a location where it is easy to fill the tank. It is also possible to hang the
unit by means of the supplied holder and fixing screws.
