IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic
safety precautions should always be taken, including the following:

DANGER –
Any appliance is electrically live, even when the switch is
off. To reduce the risk of death or injury by electric shock:
1. Always unplug charging stand from electrical outlet immediately after using.
2. Do not place or store appliance where it is able to fall or be pulled into a tub or
sink. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquids.
3. Do not use appliance while bathing or in the shower.
4. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately
from outlet.
5. Unplug charging stand before cleaning.
WARNING –
To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock, fire, or injury to
persons:
1. Never leave a plugged-in appliance unattended, except when charging.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Keep the appliance dry.
4. Use appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Use only
attachments recommended by the manufacturer. Plug charging stand directly
into outlet – do not use an extension cord.

5. Never operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not
working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has fallen
into water. Return the appliance to a BaBylissPRO Service Center for
examination and repair.
6. Keep the charging stand cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not pull, twist or wrap the cord around the charging stand.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening on the appliance.
9. Do not place the trimmer on any surface while it is operating.
10. Do not use the trimmer with a damaged or broken comb or with teeth missing
from the blades, as injury may result. Before each use, make certain the blades
are aligned properly and oiled.
11. Do not use the appliance outdoors or where aerosol (spray) products are being
used or where oxygen is being administered.
12. Do not crush, heat above 212°F (100°C) or incinerate the appliance due to risk
of fire, explosion or burns. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
13. Always attach plug to charging stand first, then to outlet.
14. Keep lubricating oil away from children and pets.
15. Never operate this appliance with the air openings blocked or while on a soft
surface, such as a bed or couch, where it is possible for the air openings to be
blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and similar objects.
16. For the purpose of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit
provided with this appliance.
17. Use only with a certified USB power source, such as a computer, outlet, lamp,
class 2 power supply, or automotive adapter.
18. The appliance is intended for commercial use.
19. If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the battery should
be removed.
