FIRST USE
§ Open the battery case (back) and insert batteries
with correct polarity, replace battery cover and screw
in place
§ Remove protective cap
§ Press the HOLD key (5) to switch the unit on.
§ Select material with M-button (4) (if the material is not
listed, select material 2 and check the result - result
shows only approximate values in this case)
§ Insert both probes into the material at the same time
(do not use force), do not touch the probe with your
fingers.
§ After the measurement, carefully pull out the probes.
§ To keep the measured value on the display, press key
(5). Pressing it again unlocks the operation.
§ Press the SET key (6) to display the min. and max.

⚠ GENERAL INFORMATION
§ The tester calibrates itself automatically after being
switched on, but the measuring tips must not be
touching anything during this time.
§ Do not store together with solvents or other aggressive
substances.
§ The user is responsible for the measurement results -
no guarantee for the correctness of the measurement
results or liability for incorrect measurement results.
§ Clean only with a slightly damp, clean and soft cloth
SWITCHING OFF
§ Press the HOLD button for two seconds to switch the
unit off.
§ Automatic switch-off after 10 min, if not being used

§ If the battery indicator shows "flat battery" insert new
batteries immediately, batteries that are too weak can
damage the measurement result.
§ When inserting batteries, ensure that the batteries are
inserted with the correct polarity.
§ Improperly inserted batteries could leak and/or cause
a fire/explosion.
§ Keep batteries away from children: Risk of choking or
suffocating
§ Never try to open, crush or heat a standard/recharge-
able battery or set it on fire. Do not throw into a fire.
§ Leaking battery fluid can cause irritation if it comes into
contact with the skin. Immediately rinse affected areas
with fresh water and then seek medical attention.
§ Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.
§ Always change all of the batteries at the same time as
a complete set and always use equivalent batteries.
§ Do not use batteries if the product appears to be
damaged.
§ Batteries are not rechargeable. Do not short-circuit
batteries.
§ Switch the product off before changing the batteries.
§ If the meter is not used for a longer period of time,
remove the batteries from the meter
