CH. 7 INSTALLATION
7.1 BLOCKS
The lift must be secured to the floor by means of mechanical expansion blocks HILTI HSL4-G M12 or similar or by means of chemical
anchors in vials HILTI HVU + HAS(-E) (5.8) M16 or similar (with M16 threaded bar made of steel class 5.8 or higher).
As regards the depth of the concrete in relation to the floor level, THE BLOCKS MUST BE LONG ENOUGH TO GET TO THE BEARING
FLOOR. (see fig. A-B).
7.2 CONCRETE
For lower class concrete we recommend the use of suitable chemical anchors.
NOTE It is recommended that the base of the columns be placed directly on the concrete, even if there is a raised floor. However, if
this is of good quality it is possible to secure the columns directly on the floor by using anchors long enough.
