OPERATING THE NAILER
(Options for all tool models)

CONNECTIONS

Fittings
1 ƒ Install a female coupler to the hose. The female

coupler will connect to the quick release that fits the
tool.
Filter-Regulator-Lubricator
ƒ Never connect nailer to pressure that potentially
exceeds 120psi.
ƒ Filter-regulator-lubricator units supply an optimum
condition for the nailer and extend the nailer life.
These units should always be used.
Filter
ƒ The filter removes moisture and dirt mixed in
compressed air.
ƒ Keep the filter clean by maintaining tool regularly.

ƒ Drain daily.

Regulator
ƒ The regulator controls the operating pressure for safe
operation of the nailer.
ƒ Inspect the regulator before operation to be sure it
operates properly.
Lubricator
ƒ The lubricator supplies an oil mist to the nailer.
ƒ Inspect the lubricator before operation to be sure the
supply of lubricant is adequate.

ƒ If an inline lubricator is not used, a few drops of oil
will need to be added to the air inlet before each use.

Air Hose
ƒ Air hose must have a minimum working pressure
rating of 120psi or 150% of the maximum pressure
produced in the system, whichever is higher.
