5) Assembly
The railing is attached to two sides of the platform depending on the
orientation of the staircase to the entrance.

If the railing is to be as shown in Fig. 1, both railings of the platform are
connected to the railing of the stairs. The flexible handrail connector (pos.
25) is used here. To do this, it may be necessary to shorten the handrail of
the stairs so that it is at the same height as the handrail of the platform. If
the height is not exactly right, the height of the platform railing can be
adjusted by moving the railing rods in the screw-on sleeve. Once the correct
height has been determined, the grub screws are tightened in the screw-on
sleeves.
If the handrail has to be assembled as shown in Fig. 2, one of the railings is
connected to the railing of the staircase as described above. The height of
the other railing is aligned to match the other railing, and the two railings
are then joined together with a flexible handrail connector. You have to
shorten the handrails here.
