4. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In compliance with Directive 2002/95/EC on electrical and electronic equipment,
this electric soap dispenser does not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent
chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ether
(PBDE), or phthalates.
This crossed-out wheelie bin symbol can be seen on the data
plate of the soap dispenser. It means that, at the end of the
service life of the product, it must not be discarded with
household general waste. To facilitate recycling and to avoid
negative effects on the environment
and health, this product can be disposed of in specific
electrical-and-electronic-equipment collection facilities which
have been designed by the local administrations to deal with this
type of waste in each city.
