Installation
Designed to operate on 90 PSI, lower pressure (below 90
PSI) will reduce performance of the tool while higher air
pressure (over 90 PSI) will increase the speed beyond its
rated capacity. This condition may cause serious injury to
the user and result in damage to the tool.
Operation
Supply tool with 90 PSI of clean, dry air. Higher pressure
drastically reduces tool life. Connect tool to air line using
pipe, hose and fitting sizes. Always shut off air supply,
relieve hose of air pressure and disconnect tool from air
supply when changing accessories.
To insert chisel, press loop on retainer aside, push
chisel into cylinder and release loop. Place cutting edge
of chisel against workpiece, depress trigger.
Do not operate tool without chisel in the cylinder, or with
chisel not fully seated or secured into the cylinder.
Internal damage will result if piston is allowed to strike
cylinder wall.
Use an air line lubricator with Mobil Almo 525 air tool oil
(model 4ZF22), adjusted to two (2) drops per minute. If
an air line lubricator cannot be used, add air motor oil to
the inlet once a day.The use of synthetic oils for air line
lubrication is not recommended because of possible
damage to seals, o-ring, hose, rotor blades and polycar-
bonate oiler/filter bowls.
The amount of moisture carried by compressed air
varies as the temperature of the air drops after
compression. As the temperature drops, water is
precipitated. In order to eliminate as much water
