READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

• Keep the switch in the OFF position when not in use (all the way towards "pH").
• Do not immerse the probe in any liquid other than pool or spa water.
• Do not short-circuit the battery. Only use AA battery (not included).
• Do not dispose of the meter as unsorted municipal waste or put into fire as the batteries may leak or explode.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Preparation
1. Use sand paper to clean the probes first.
2. Wash the probes and dry them.
3. Insert one AA battery into the meter.
Testing Chlorine Level
The ideal chlorine range is 2.0-4.0ppm.
1. Rotate the switch to "CL", the meter will point to letter C.
2. Hold the Pool
Aquatest in one hand and the probe in the other. Dip the probe into the water up to the black
+
band. Wait until the needle rests for an accurate chlorine reading.
3. Leave the probe in the water and proceed to test the pH levels.
NOTICE: If the meter does not point to letter C when the switch is at CL, replace the battery.
Testing pH level
The ideal pH level is 7.4 to 7.6.
1. With the probe still in the water, rotate the switch to "pH" until it clicks.
2. Wait until the needle rests on the pH reading.
3. Gently dry probe and insert into the holder on the side of the Aquatest for storage.
Disposal
Meaning of crossed –out wheeled dustbin:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.
Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old
appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
