How to configure the iViewer 10 Wifi Smart Camera with the iTEC iOT APP
To integrate the iViewer 10 Wifi smart camera into your home network, follow these technical steps
using the iTEC iOT APP.
Pre-requisites:
1. Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wifi network. If your router broadcasts both
2.4GHz and 5GHz on the same SSID, separate them into distinct entities.
2. Disable VPN and Adguard on your mobile device.
3. Set up the camera near the router and later move it to it's intended installlation location.
4. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wifi networks you plan to connect the
camera to.
5. Remove the lens cap from the camera.
1. Download and install the iTEC iOT app on your mobile device (available for iOS and Android) and
create a new account. Set up your location, agree to the terms and conditions and verify your account.
If you already have a iTEC iOT account, log in to it to access additional features like cloud storage,
third-party voice control (Alexa, Google assistant, SmartThings, etc.) and device sharing.
2. If you are setting up a Buetooth devide, ensure Bluetooh is enabled on your mobile device. Also
enable location services and grant the necessary permissions to discover devices on your network.
Adding the camera to the iTEC iOT APP:
1. Launch the iTEC iOT APP o your mobile device (connected to your home network).
2. Tap the top-right "+" icon or the "Add device" button. If location services are off, you will be promp-
ted to turn them on and grant permission.
3. Select the device category and from the left options choose "Camera & Locks".
4. Choose your specific iViewer 10 Wifi smart camera model from the listed options in the app (Wifi,
BLE, Dual Band,4G or doorbell camera).
5. Power up the camera by connecting it to a working power outlet. Press and hold the RESET button
for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode; the camera's LED indicator light will flash rapidly to indicate a
successful reset.
6. Upon seeing the indicator blink or hearing a voice prompt, confirm the action on the APP and
proceed.
7. Connect the camera to your home network by selecting the 2.4GHz version of your Wifi network
and entering the correct password. Tap "Next".
8. Scan the QR code on your screen with the camera from 10-15cm. After a successful scan, you will
receive a confirmation voice prompt. Tap the "I heard a prompt" button to continue.
