Regulatory instructions
• There is a risk of explosion should batteries be thrown into a
fire or hot oven, mechanically crushed or cut.
• Extreme high or low temperatures to which the batteries may
be subjected during use, storage and transport:
– During use: -10 °C to +40 °C
– During storage: -10 °C to +40 °C
– During transport: -10 °C to +40 °C
• Should the battery be left in an extremely hot surrounding
environment, it could explode or start leaking flammable liquid
or gas.
• A battery subjected to extremely high atmospheric pressure
may explode or start leaking flammable liquid or gas.
WARNING
• Do not ingest batteries: risk of chemical burns.
• Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
• Should the battery compartment not close properly, stop using
the unit and keep it out of the reach of children.
• If you ever suspect that batteries may have been swallowed
or inserted into any part of the body, please seek immediate
medical advice.
• Should one of the batteries leak, use a cloth to remove it from
the battery compartment. Dispose of the batteries in accordance
with current regulations. If acid leaks from a battery, avoid
contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Rinse
affected areas immediately after contact with acid and wash
with plenty of clean water. Consult a doctor.
• Ingesting batteries can be fatal. Keep batteries out of the reach
of children and pets. In the event that a battery is swallowed,
seek immediate medical attention.
• Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult
supervision.
• Batteries must be stored in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place.
• Remove the battery whenever you do not plan on using the unit
for a long period of time.
• A used battery should be immediately removed from the
equipment and recycled properly.
