2. Align the grooves of the chute with the slot on the
chute base, and then push the chute in place (Fig. C2).

3. Use the supplied hex wrench to lock the chute in place
with the two sets of bolts and washers (Fig. C3).
OPERATION
ATTACHING/DETACHING THE BATTERY PACK
Use only with EGO's battery packs and chargers listed in
Fig. A4.
Refer to corresponding battery packs and chargers manuals
for more details.
Fully charge before first use.
1. Raise the battery compartment cover by lifting the
front of the cover (Fig. D1).
2. To attach, Align the battery ribs with the mounting
slots in one and press the battery pack down until you
hear a "click". Attach the other battery. (Fig. D2)
3. To detach, depress the battery-release button and pull
the battery pack out (Fig. D3).

4. Close the battery compartment cover.
STARTING/STOPPING THE SNOW BLOWER
NOTICE:
Do not rapidly turn the snow blower off and on.
To Start the Snow Blower
1. Attach the battery pack(s) to the snow blower and
close the battery cover.
2. Power the snow blower ON by depressing the safety
button.
3. With the safety button depressed, pull the bail switch
upward to meet the main handle (Fig. E1).

4. Once the auger starts, release the safety button and
begin operation (Fig. E2).
5. To advance forward, lift the main handle to allow the
auger assembly to contact the ground (Fig. E3). The
auger traction will assist in moving the snow blower
forward.

NOTICE:
battery temperature is -20°C or less. If unit doesn't start,
remove the battery from the snow blower and allow it
to warm indoors for 10 minutes or longer. Reinstall the
battery and try again.
To Stop the Snow Blower
1. Fully release the bail switch (Fig. E4).

2. The electric brake in the Automatic Braking
Mechanism will stop the auger rotation after the bail
switch is released.
Variable-Auger-Speed System (Fig. E5)
1. To increase the auger speed, move the auger-speed
dial away from the operator.
2. To decrease the speed, move the auger-speed dial
towards the operator.
LED headlights (Fig. E6)
1. To turn on the headlights, press the LED headlights
switch. The headlights provide bright light in front of
the snow blower.
2. To turn off the headlights, press the LED headlights
switch again.
NOTE: The LED headlights will turn off automatically
when the snow blower is inactive for 5 minutes to
preserve the battery charge.
ADJUSTING THE CHUTE
The direction of snow removal can be adjusted up to
180° (Fig. E7).

1. Push the chute-rotation handle forward to rotate the
chute to the left.
2. Pull the chute-rotation handle backward to rotate the
chute to the right.
