To control the digital input level
(Digital Record volume)
With digital input recording, it is usually not required to adjust
the digital input level. But this unit has been designed to allow
digital input level adjustment in steps 3 and 4.
Be sure to use the following procedure if you want to adjust the
digital input level. Note that the REC LEVEL control cannot be used.
Press the REC MODE button.
If an MD is loaded, digital input volume level can be set even
when the unit is in the Stop mode.
"Digital vol." is shown on the main unit display.
Push the jog dial.
_ The display changed to "D.vol
dB".
'3| Turn the jog dial to vary the digital input level.
The control range is between +12 dB and 0 dB and -48 cB.
(The initial value is 0 dB.)
