g. Unscrew the lower part of the cartridge
holder (figure 1a) and remove the empty
cartridge if necessary.
h. Insert the gas cartridge and screw on the
lower part of the cartridge holder (figure 1b).
2. Installing the mantle
a. Remove the handle from the top of the
lamp by pulling the two ends outwards.

b. Remove the cover (figure 2b).
c. Insert the mantle (figure 2c).
d. Insert the glass cylinder. Then replace the
cover and put the handle back on again
(figure 2d).
3. Lighting the lamp
a. Make sure there are no gas leaks.
b. After opening the flame regulator, press the
red piezo ignition button.
c. To regulate the intensity of the flame, open
or close the flame regulator gently (figure 3)
d. Flaring may occur while the device is
warming up or if it is moved.
4. Turning the lamp off.
Before you turn the lamp off, make sure that the
flame regulator (figure 4) is completely closed. After
using the device, always allow the lamp to cool down
completely.
CAUTION!
Accessible parts can become very hot.
Keep children away from the device.
After use
Turn the flame regulator all the way to the right to
shut off the flow of gas and extinguish the flame.
Cleaning the device
Before you put the device away, clean it carefully
and make sure that the gas valve is completely
closed. Such cleaning is particularly advisable
if the device is not going to be used for a long
period of time.
