6. Maintenance
Disconnect the Iris bed light from the power
supply before replacing light bulbs. Remove
the plug from the socket.
6.1 Replacing the halogen bulb for the
atmospheric background light
1. Remove the clip from the lampshade (see
section 3.3).
2. Remove the lampshade.
3. Carefully remove the protective glass by
twisting it upwards.
4. Remove the bulb from the fitting.
5. Push the new halogen bulb (type 12 V - 10 W
lamp base G4) into the fitting.
Take care not to touch the bulb with your
fingers.
6. Finally, replace the protective glass, then
the lampshade and then the clip.
6.2 Replacing the halogen bulb for the
reading light
1. Remove the bulb from the fitting.
2. Push the new halogen bulb (type MR halo-
gen reflector lamp (closed) 12 V - 10 W
lamp base G4) into the fitting.
3. Insert the plug in the socket.
